Preston graduated from Fort Hays State University in 2015 with a degree in Health and Human Performance. While in school he completed internships emphasizing in neurologic recovery as well as a sports medicine internship through the Andrews Institute of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. Following his undergraduate degree, Preston attended the University of Kansas Medical Center where he graduated with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2018. While in graduate school he worked for the university in aquatic therapy as well as assisting in didactic research regarding sleep and recovery. Since receiving his doctorate, Preston has continued his education through various coursework emphasizing manual therapy interventions and is currently preparing to become a Certified Strengthening and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strengthening and Conditioning Association.
